Our company was established in October 1998 as A&M Styrene Co., Ltd., with investments from Asahi Kasei Corporation (formerly Asahi Kasei Industrial Co., Ltd.) and Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (now Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Corporation). In April 2003, we integrated with the polystyrene business of Idemitsu Petrochemical Co., Ltd. (now Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd.) and started as a dedicated polystyrene manufacturer.
