The biggest advantage is the ability to appeal to customers who are not yet ready to take specific actions, thereby uncovering their needs. Additionally, by expressing visually, it can convey the appeal of products or services more concretely. Furthermore, since remarketing is possible, it is common to approach users who have shown interest in a website and are browsing other websites for information, guiding them towards making a purchase or application. A disadvantage is that it often targets customers who are still in the consideration phase, resulting in lower immediacy. Moreover, measuring effectiveness and analyzing results can be challenging, taking time to identify which elements contributed to success. Display advertising also requires targeting based on keywords and narrowing down user attributes such as age and gender.
