Maximum cushioning performance and strength with the minimum necessary materials! A case study addressing high-level demands.
We would like to introduce a case study regarding packaging consulting for order carrying cases used for transporting precision measuring instruments. The current product is used in such a way that it seems to bury the item, and when the contact area with the product increases, it actually transmits a strong impact during falls and other incidents. Our company proposed to eliminate all unnecessary cushioning structures by calculating backwards from the product weight and the allowable G value (target value for shock suppression). 【Case Overview】 ■ Issues - Excessive use of materials, resulting in very high costs - Inclusion of unnecessary volume, leading to increased transportation size and costs ■ Improvement Proposal - Changed the foam used for storing equipment to a simpler structure - Compactified the exterior to match the slimmed-down interior *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

basic information
【Points】 - While significantly reducing the amount of cushioning material, the structure of the part that supports large weights (the so-called pressure-receiving surface) is carefully calculated to ensure adequate and sufficient product protection performance. - The strength balance is designed to effectively prevent issues such as "bottoming out," where the cushioning material can no longer support the product and it crashes into the outer box, as well as tears due to insufficient strength. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
