Wet blast abrasive "Aqua Media α"

The α series is a new abrasive developed specifically for wet blasting (liquid honing), where glass beads are blended in a well-balanced manner with unsaturated polyester resin. It combines the two properties of glass beads and unsaturated polyester resin, excelling in fine processing while minimizing damage to the workpiece while maintaining cutting power. It is suitable as an alternative to other thermosetting resin abrasives and plant-based abrasives. In particular, plant-based abrasives (such as walnut, apricot, peach, etc.) can have variability in hardness and durability, requiring adjustments to blasting conditions depending on the batch. However, our resin-based abrasives maintain consistent quality, have low friability, and are durable, allowing for repeated use according to each application. All α series products are blended in-house, and we pay close attention to managing the particle size distribution after blending.
