If a bolt-fixed manhole cover is installed, it can be easily locked by changing just one of the bolt parts to a special lock bolt. The cover cannot be opened without using a dedicated handle. Since it is possible to implement measures simply by replacing the lock bolt even on already installed manhole covers, it is also suitable for retrofitting. Opening and closing is done using the special handle.
