It travels along a track connected by guide rails in horizontal, vertical, and curved configurations via wires, and the carts (carriers) equipped with chucks can be fitted with mechanisms for changing the posture of workpieces, pickup mechanisms, and more as needed. Since there is no need to change the grip on workpieces during transport, the need for numerous workpiece attachment and detachment mechanisms and transfer devices required by conventional transport systems is eliminated, resulting in significant cost reductions.
