In the previous blog, I wrote that it is difficult to accurately understand and remember the content of welding symbols, but recently I had the opportunity to closely engage with "welding." Last year, I received a request for a quote from a customer for a certain drawing. It was a cylindrical shape resembling a hat. The size was about φ1600, and since there were no welding symbols, I assumed it was a machined product and requested a quote from a machining company that specializes in large-scale machining. After that, based on the response from the machining company, I submitted a quote to the customer.
