As the demand for extensive PFAS monitoring in drinking water and environmental water (non-drinking water) increases, efficient analytical methods are required. In this study, we developed a simultaneous analysis method targeting alternative (short-chain) and conventional (long-chain) PFAS, as well as ultra-short-chain PFAS, including C2 (ultra-short-chain), C3, C4, C6, C8, and alternative compounds. The analysis of low-concentration per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) requires high sensitivity and low background levels throughout the entire workflow, from sample collection, transportation, and storage to analytical instrumentation and sample pretreatment.
