BYK-3483 is a multifunctional silicone-based surface modifier that offers a perfect balance of excellent wetting, leveling, defoaming properties, and a very wide range of compatibility with substrates. Advantages: • Excellent wetting and leveling effects with a single additive • Significant reduction in surface tension • Defoaming effect • Prevention of beading and removal of pinholes • Strong anti-soiling properties • Wide range of applications and excellent compatibility: applicable from very low to high concentrations of organic co-solvents.

Applicable Fields [Paints]: General industrial paints, marine and anti-corrosion paints, architectural paints, wood and furniture paints, floor paints. Particularly suitable for formulations with very low content of organic co-solvents, and also suitable for solvent-free UV systems. [Printing Inks]: Ideal for water-based printing inks and overprint varnishes. [Leather Finishing and Coating Fabrics] [Adhesives and Sealants]: Suitable for all water-based adhesives.
