[Proposal Example] Reduction of Polishing for Heat-Treated Parts

Reduction of processing costs and shortening of delivery times! In some cases, performing lathe finishing can reduce the polishing process.

We would like to introduce a case study of our proposal for "eliminating polishing of heat-treated parts." The customer was troubled and consulted us because their usual subcontractor, who they always request for cylindrical and flat polishing, was busy and unable to take on the job. At our company, we can perform cylindrical and flat polishing in collaboration with our subcontractors. Upon reviewing the drawings, we thought, "There are polishing instructions, but isn't it possible to achieve the required precision without polishing?" and proposed a polishing-free solution. 【Case Overview】 ■ Issues - No polishing machine available, and the subcontractor is overwhelmed with capacity and unable to accept requests. ■ Proposal - We have been continuously accumulating data on vacuum hardening and high-frequency hardening, and from our experience, we can confirm that polishing-free solutions are possible with a precision of approximately ±0.05mm. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
