Quickly and gently secure the outer diameter of small workpieces using the inclined friction surface of a wooden collet. A lightweight fixture that can be produced with a 3D printer.
This product is a friction-holding fixture that uses the inclined surface of a wooden collet to retain the outer diameter of small workpieces. The base fixture can be produced with a 3D printer, enabling lightweight tooling without metal machining. It can be manufactured at low cost and in a short lead time, and is suitable for a wide range of applications from prototyping and assembly to inspection and educational use. The wooden collet body can be manufactured by our company, and we can also provide consultation on 3D printer data for the fixture. A 3D-printed sample unit is available; please contact us if you would like a demonstration.
