By applying a negative charge to the basket in an alkaline detergent (electrolyte) and a positive charge to the items being cleaned, and then passing a DC 10V direct current, numerous hydrogen bubbles are generated from the surface of the items. These hydrogen bubbles lift away dirt (oxidation films, rust, and grease) that is on top of them. Next, using alkaline detergent and ultrasound, we penetrate and decompose the dirt on the metal surface, leaving it clean and shiny.
