Using Yoshida Technoworks' discontinuous vapor deposition film in in-mold forming technology, it is possible to mold decorative panels that have a metallic luster while allowing radio waves to pass through. Furthermore, the double in-mold method enables the integrated molding of a metallic decorative layer and a protective coat layer, eliminating the need for subsequent painting or coating processes. The molding based on lightweight PC resin is expected to achieve significant weight reduction compared to existing metal components.
