The PM5 Gen3 is a precision ultrasonic thickness gauge designed for measuring thin plates, multilayer materials, and high-damping materials. With ultra-fast sampling at 200MHz, it achieves high reproducibility, capable of distinguishing differences as small as 0.001mm. It can measure down to 0.1mm as standard for steel, and with optional use, it can measure as thin as 0.05mm, meeting a wide range of thickness measurement needs. The PM5 Gen3 is a third-generation model developed over a period of three years with the goal of being one of the world's best ultrasonic thickness gauges. It is designed to pursue high-precision measurements and is capable of measuring thin plates, multilayer materials, and high-damping materials, which are typically challenging in standard thickness measurements. Additionally, it features a wealth of A-scan adjustment parameters not found in other companies' ultrasonic thickness gauges or flaw detectors, catering to the advanced demands of experts. To address various challenges in thickness measurement, it offers numerous software options such as multilayer measurement, oxide scale measurement, high resolution (0.1μm), and high frequency (up to 75MHz). It also supports a wide range of single-element probes, including delay lines, contact probes, protective films, pen-type probes, and immersion probes, allowing the use of over 20 types of probes from low frequency to high frequency.
