Internal verification cutting of tires for riding rice transplanters in agricultural machinery. This is a composite material simultaneous cutting aimed at verifying the bonding and fitting conditions between the rubber and metal parts. Although it is a water jet cutting process with no thermal effects, deformation occurred due to residual stress in the metal parts, causing the entire wheel to deform to the extent that it could not be separated along the specified cut line in a single pass, even with four spokes present. Therefore, multiple cutting operations were performed to achieve separation. There was some internal damage due to jet scattering in the hollow parts, but the impact was minimal because the hollow was of small diameter. The water jet cutter, which has no thermal effects, cut the material in a clean state without altering its properties, allowing for visual inspection of areas with very slight thickness changes.
