Advanced chemical recycling treatment through the monomerization of acrylic resin.
Pailorina G | Chemical recycling treatment of acrylic resin (PMMA)
Decomposing waste acrylic into MMA monomer equivalent to new. Non-degradable, horizontal recycling from material to material.
Used acrylic products are thermally decomposed to extract MMA monomer, the raw material, with quality comparable to new products. This is a horizontal recycling process that returns to the manufacturing process of acrylic products. It can handle contamination and dirt, and unlike material recycling, the applications after regeneration are not limited. ■ Features - It can process even with contamination and dirt. Unlike material recycling, which requires pre-cleaning, it can handle mixed paper and additives due to chemical decomposition. - It does not degrade upon recycling, thus expanding the range of applications after regeneration. Unlike material recycling, which limits applications to regenerated films and bulletin boards, it can be reused for all types of acrylic products. - It is compactly designed to efficiently and effectively decompose and convert into MMA monomer. By controlling temperature distribution in the reaction furnace and suppressing the generation of by-products, it enhances yield. - Achieves a liquefaction recovery rate of 98% (based on in-house performance data). - Ensures safety with non-combustion, atmospheric pressure processing, and all-electric heat sources. The gas flow rate is controlled using carrier gases like nitrogen, preventing the alteration of the monomer.

Applications/Examples of results
■ For such purposes - We want to recycle acrylic offcuts and defective products that had to be discarded at our own factory. - There are acrylic waste materials that cannot be sent for material recycling due to contamination or the presence of foreign substances, such as printing or metal. - We want to return recycled materials to acrylic products with the same quality as new, without limiting their applications. - We want to process acrylic waste materials within our company or nearby without incurring transportation costs.
