The XC8115 / XC8116 is a multifunctional load switch IC that features ultra-low power consumption, space-saving design, and 105°C heat resistance, condensing the necessary functions for sequence control. It achieves a current consumption of 0uA both during operation and standby, making it ideal for applications such as compact battery-powered devices and energy harvesting equipment where minimizing power loss is crucial. Since it does not require input/output capacitors, it can operate as a standalone IC, contributing to space-saving on the circuit board. It incorporates a P-channel MOSFET and includes features such as thermal shutdown, short-circuit protection, and an adjustable soft start (inrush current prevention) function with external capacitance. Additionally, standby control via the EN terminal (with selectable Hi/Lo active) is also possible. The lineup includes two types: the "XC8115" with a CL discharge function for rapid discharging of output capacitors, and the "XC8116," which is equipped with a reverse current prevention function when turned off.
