Achieving zero initial costs! PE Light A-8 (gray) 90t case study of precision cutting using laminated cushioning material technology.
We introduce a case study of a custom cushioning inner tray (90t) made of PE Light A-8 (gray) that protects precision devices and measuring instruments from shocks during transportation. Traditionally, there was a limit to the thickness of polyethylene foam raw material forming, usually around 30 to 50mm. However, we adopted a lamination bonding technique to ensure thickness. By managing high-precision pressing with heat or special adhesives, we formed a uniform 90t block that does not peel or warp over time. This was then precisely cut to a depth of 90mm with a beautiful vertical cross-section, maintaining no distortion, using a water jet cutting machine that operates at high water pressure without crushing.
