Notification of Specified Facilities under the Noise and Vibration Regulation Acts
SK-08 | Noise Regulation Act, Vibration Regulation Act | Specified facility notification
When you install air compressors, presses or crushers. From checking coverage to filing at least 30 days before construction starts.
Installing air compressors, blowers, presses, crushers and similar equipment that are specified facilities under the Noise Regulation Act or Vibration Regulation Act at a plant in a designated area requires notification to the municipality at least 30 days before construction starts. Increasing the number of facilities may also require a change notification. Many machines fall under both acts, so notifications are easily missed. A notification is also needed when a facility is removed. We check from equipment specifications and location whether the facility and area are covered, and prepare the notification and attachments as well as change and removal notifications. We also organize other notifications needed for the same work, such as for water and air.
