Registration as a Fluorocarbon Filling and Recovery Business
SK-11 | Fluorocarbon Emission Control Act | Filling and recovery business registration
When you fill or recover fluorocarbons in commercial air conditioners and refrigeration equipment. From checking requirements to the registration application.
Businesses that fill or recover fluorocarbons in commercial air conditioners and refrigeration equipment (Class 1 specified products) must be registered with the prefectural governor. Air-conditioning contractors and maintenance companies are increasingly asked by prime contractors and customers to show this registration. Registration is valid for five years and lapses unless renewed. After registration, obligations include issuing filling and recovery certificates, keeping records and notifying changes. We check the registration requirements and grounds for refusal, prepare the application, and handle change notifications after registration and renewals every five years.
