The report from the contractor is "passed the test." Nevertheless, it is our company that approves mass production. The verification needed for that decision is done by a technical expert with about 30 years of experience.
The design of the wireless part was entrusted to an external party, and a report confirming the passing of tests has arrived. There are no engineers within the company who can evaluate the wireless technology. The documents for mass production approval are on the president's desk. It's not that we doubt the contractor. However, we don't know under what conditions the tests were passed, how they differ from the actual usage environment, or how to inquire with the contractor. There is also a hesitation that asking might be perceived as distrust. Nevertheless, it is our company that will take responsibility for any rework after mass production and for explaining to customers. Keiji Taguchi, a licensed engineer (Electrical and Electronics), will confirm the specifications, evaluation criteria, and test results as a third party, and will organize the differences from the actual usage environment and additional points to verify. We will also think together about how to approach the contractor. This review is based on approximately 30 years of experience at Japan Radio, including involvement in field testing. Price information
The initial individual consultation (for discussing and organizing issues) is free of charge. Paid spot consultations: standard 30,000 yen per hour (excluding tax). Costs will be adjusted based on whether a preliminary investigation is conducted and the consultation time. For detailed reviews, investigations, and ongoing support, we will provide information on the scope of support and estimates before starting, depending on the content. Travel expenses will be charged separately.
