Long-distance wireless transmission of contacts is possible with sub-gigahertz wireless.
The LA-3R3PP-SG is a digital I/O unit that, despite its compact size, features three relay outputs with a contact capacity of 5A and three dry contact inputs. In addition to standard input monitoring, it is equipped with a pulse counting function. It allows for remote monitoring of the LA-3R3PP-SG located at a distance via a gateway device from a computer, and it is possible to connect multiple LA-3R3PP-SGs in a peer-to-peer configuration to extend contact information through wireless transmission. It can be operated without being aware of the constraints of communication speed and transfer pause time under the SUB-GHz wireless standard, enabling control and monitoring signals to be transmitted up to 2 km in high-speed mode and up to 7 km in long-distance mode.

Applications/Examples of results
■Long-distance extension and optimal for distributed placement By utilizing sub-giga wireless communication in the 920MHz band, long-distance communication exceeding 1km is achieved. This allows for long-distance point extension that was not possible with the conventional wireless LAN IO series. The palm-sized compact housing, specialized for small-scale control applications, is also ideal for remote control applications where the control targets are dispersed over a wide area and the required number of points per location is not high. ■PC-less input extension function using sub-giga wireless By connecting oppositely through sub-giga wireless, the signal state on the input unit side can be extended as the state of the output terminals of the connected output unit without using a computer. ■Ability to develop unique control systems Input/output function libraries for C++ and C# languages, as well as sample programs with source code, are provided, enabling the rapid development of unique control systems that integrate with other software running on PCs.
