Long-distance wireless transmission of contacts is possible via sub-gigahertz wireless.
The LA-5R-SG is a digital IO unit with 5 relay output points, each having a contact capacity of 5A, despite its compact size. It can be controlled remotely from a computer via a gateway device, or used in pairs with compatible LANIO-SG series devices to output wirelessly transmitted contact information. It can operate without being aware of the constraints of communication speed and transfer pause time under the SUB-GHz wireless standard, allowing for control and monitoring signals to be transmitted up to 2 km in high-speed mode and up to 7 km in long-distance mode.

Applications/Examples of results
■Long-distance extension and optimal for distributed placement By utilizing sub-gigahertz wireless communication in the 920MHz band, long-distance communication exceeding 1km is achieved. It enables long-distance point extension that the conventional wireless LAN IO series could not support. The palm-sized compact housing, specialized for small-scale control applications, is also ideal for remote control applications where the control targets are dispersed over a wide area and the required number of points per location is not high. ■PC-less input extension function using sub-gigahertz wireless By connecting oppositely through sub-gigahertz wireless, the signal state on the input unit side can be extended as the state of the output terminals of the connected output unit without using a computer. ■Development of unique control systems is possible Input/output function libraries for C++ and C# languages, as well as sample programs with source code, are provided, allowing for the rapid development of unique control systems that can interface with other software running on a PC.
