This is a contract machining service to add corner holes to C3771 brass parts using shape-cutting electrical discharge machining. In the case study, corner holes of size □20H8 and depth 36mm were machined into 8 female parts. Positioning was done based on an existing round hole that continues to the back of the corner hole, and after machining, the supplied male part was fitted to confirm the combination. We will check not only the dimensions of the corner holes but also the center position relative to the reference holes, the shape of the bottom, and the relationship with the mating parts. Please provide the completed drawings, photos before additional machining, material, quantity, tolerances, and desired delivery date.
