We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of the discrete event analysis 3D simulation software 'FlexSim.' Ishiya Seika Co., Ltd. considered the need to objectively compare manufacturing lines and human movement paths by introducing simulation software. As a result of the implementation, it became possible to visualize how much time each process should take to achieve the goals, what kind of movements would be beneficial, and what the time, movement paths, and costs would be. This allowed for a more persuasive explanation of concepts that are often difficult to convey with words alone.
