Julia+Spectrum (low-res).jpg

Germany's Spectrum Corporation has launched support for the programming language "Julia" (SDK).

The German company Spectrum launched support for the programming language "Julia" (SDK) on May 5, 2021, ahead of the world. You can use Spectrum's digitizers, AWG (Arbitrary Waveform Generators), and digital IO from "Julia." "Julia" is a relatively new programming language developed at MIT. It combines the performance speed of "C" with the expressiveness of "Python" and "MATLAB," and is rapidly gaining popularity in the fields of science and technology as well as numerical computation. - Digitizer 16bit, ~250MS/s, 14bit, ~500MS/s, 8bit ~5GS/s Maximum bandwidth: ~1.5GHz Number of input channels: 2, 4, 8 (50Ω, 1MΩ) - Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG) 16bit ~125MS/s (8 channels), ~625MS/s (4 channels), 16bit ~1.25GS/s (2 channels) Number of output channels: 2, 4, 8 (50Ω) - Digital IO Number of input or output channels: 16 or 32 Sampling frequency: ~125MHz Input level: 3.3V (5V) TTL

A digitizer and an arbitrary waveform generator (AWG) can be mounted on the NVIDIA Jetson (an ARM-based embedded computer board).

Spectrum+NVIDIA_Jetson(lowres).jpg

Spectrum Inc. in Germany has started supporting NVIDIA Jetson (ARM-based embedded computer boards).

On March 17, 2021, Spectrum, a German company, began supporting drivers for NVIDIA Jetson (ARM-based embedded computer boards) in response to numerous requests received. This allows Spectrum's 65 types of digitizers, AWGs (Arbitrary Waveform Generators), and digital IO products with PCIe interfaces to be used with the compact, power-efficient, and powerful NVIDIA Jetson. NVIDIA Jetson consists of an ARM CPU and NVIDIA's CUDA-based GPU, enabling supercomputer-level parallel computing and featuring a PCIe slot. This allows for the application of supercomputer-level parallel computing performance from NVIDIA GPUs to the vast amounts of data generated by Spectrum's PCIe products. Spectrum has traditionally supported NVIDIA CUDA-based GPUs through the SCAPP (Spectrum's CUDA Access for Parallel Processing) option.

The digitizers, AWG (arbitrary waveform generator), and digital IO from Germany's Spectrum company can be used from the programming language "Julia."
