While the use of IC cards is advancing in these systems, the traditional creation of IC cards required either requesting a specialized vendor each time or printing with a dye-sublimation thermal transfer printer, which was time-consuming and costly. The "Inkjet-Compatible IC Card FeliCa Lite-S Version" is the first IC card in Japan compatible with inkjet printing and works with the inkjet card printers "CX-G6400 / CX-G2400."
