What is IEC/UL/EN62368-1?
IEC62368-1 is a new safety standard imposed on AC adapters, which is a fusion of the traditional ITE information technology equipment standard (IEC60950-1) and the AV audio-visual standard (IEC60065). The implementation of the multimedia standard (IEC62368-1) has already been decided in Western countries. For exports to Europe and the United States, it will be mandatory to include AC adapters that comply with IEC/UL/EN62368-1 after the end of December 2020.
