Bacillus bacteria

By introducing Bacillus bacteria into existing equipment just once, deodorization, denitrification, and phosphorus removal effects are achieved. This addresses the additional regulatory requirements...

**Overview of Bacteria** Bacillus is a type of soil bacterium that thrives in high-quality soil and is also found in products such as oolong tea, natto, miso, and pickles. By introducing this bacterium into an aeration tank just once and allowing it to proliferate, it effectively decomposes odor components and removes not only BOD but also COD, N-Hex, nitrogen, phosphorus, and more. Additionally, due to its adsorption effect, it improves the sedimentation of sludge. In the aeration tank, it coexists with conventional activated sludge bacteria, and by increasing its ratio to about 1-10% (100:1 to 10:1), it exhibits remarkable functions and effects.

Cow dung compost fermentation promoter, stable odor control, fermentation bacteria BJC-HKGF.

It enables the reduction of unpleasant odors in cattle manure treatment and promotes compost fermentation, allowing for the production of high-quality organic fertilizer in a short period.

Due to the unique method of high-concentration cultivation of microorganisms primarily consisting of lactic acid bacteria with strong fermentation power from cow dung, the decomposition rate is fast, resulting in high-quality organic fertilizer. It is also optimal for cases where compost does not ferment in low external temperatures during winter or for re-fermentation of compost that has failed once. Because of the high-concentration cultivation, it can be diluted from the original solution to about 1000 times, making it economical. We carefully select and cultivate microorganisms primarily consisting of lactic acid bacteria that are harmless to humans and animals, and their safety has been proven through acute oral toxicity tests conducted on mice, allowing for safe use. Additionally, some livestock farmers mix the diluted fermentation solution into the drinking water or feed of livestock and ferment it before giving it to them, which has been greatly appreciated for maintaining health through the intestinal regulation effects of lactic acid bacteria and reducing the odor of manure. The unpleasant odors associated with fermentation, such as ammonia and hydrogen sulfide, can also be reduced through the enzymes and microorganisms included in the fermentation promoter, enabling ideal fermentation. High-temperature bio-fermentation with lactic acid bacteria and composting of livestock manure contribute to climate change measures by not producing methane gas, thus supporting the SDGs.

Tohoku Univ. Technology : Rhizobia that reduce soil N2O : T20-2323

Possible to reduce greenhouse gas in agricultural land! NEDO Moon shot R&D project

Dinitrogen monoxide (N2O) is an intense greenhouse gas having about 300 times greater effect than carbon dioxide (CO2). It is said that 59% of anthropogenic emission comes from agriculture. In particular, chemical fertilizer overuse in large scale agriculture is a cause of N2O emission from the soil since more chemical fertilizers are applied than the absorption by plant. A certain rhizobia (Bradyrhizobium diazoefficiens USDA110) is known to reduce N2O to harmless nitrogen (N2), but the bacteria are not effective enough to solve the problem. In the context that non GMO rhizobia usage with high N2O reductase activity is expected from the viewpoint of global warming control and soil ecosystem, this invention proposes a natural rhizobia (Bradyrhizobium ottawaense SG09, etc.) with stronger N2O reductase activity than the conventional rhizobia, and its application.

Not only oil can be removed from oily wastewater! Introducing oil-decomposing bacteria!

Attention those troubled by oil in drainage! By using oil-decomposing bacteria, you can expect reductions in oil, odors, and industrial waste sludge. How about considering this for reducing industrial waste costs?

Our oil-decomposing bacteria are recommended for those facing the following challenges! 1. There are instances where the discharge standards for n-Hex (n-Hexane) are exceeded. 2. We have received complaints about odors from wastewater or sludge. 3. Oil is emulsifying and not aggregating. 4. We want to reduce the amount of sludge disposed of as industrial waste. *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.

Utilizing the power of microorganisms.

Keywords: Microbial utilization, microbial breeding, fermentation production, microbial environmental purification.

The cellulase complex "cellulosome" derived from anaerobic bacteria can efficiently decompose plant cell walls (biomass) and holds the potential to contribute to a circular society in the future. However, the production strains of cellulosomes are anaerobic, making cultivation difficult. Therefore, we are working on the secretion production of cellulosomes using Bacillus subtilis (a relative of natto bacteria), which has been studied alongside Escherichia coli for a long time and has accumulated various insights. There is also the possibility of secreting other useful proteins using Bacillus subtilis.

Fermentation Promoter Compost Fermentation Microorganism BJC-HK1

Fermentation accelerators have a proven track record in composting projects involving the large-scale harvesting of miscellaneous trees and weeds by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, demonstrating strong fermentation and reduction of unpleasant odors.

Fermentation accelerators and composting fermentation bacteria are used not only as fermentation accelerators for composting fallen leaves, dead leaves, weeds, and pruned branches, but also in a project conducted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism to compost a large amount of weeds and branches generated in riverbeds, where our fermentation accelerators have been utilized for many years, achieving significant reductions in fermentation time and odors during fermentation. The fermentation bacteria used in the fermentation accelerators are liquid fermentation agents cultured at high concentrations from a dozen types of microorganisms, primarily plant-based lactic acid bacteria, which are highly safe and have excellent fermentation power. Due to their strong fermentation power and high organic matter decomposition ability, fermentation accelerators and composting fermentation bacteria are used by livestock farmers raising cattle, pigs, and chickens for significantly reducing fermentation time in composting manure and urine, as well as for diluting the fermentation accelerator and spraying it in livestock barns to reduce odors. They are also utilized in a wide range of fields, including composting sludge discharged from wastewater treatment facilities (septic tanks). After using the fermentation accelerator, high temperatures of 60 to 70°C promote the growth of a large number of actinomycetes, which are essential for soil, enabling the production of high-quality compost. Additionally, the fermentation accelerator contains enzymes and microorganisms that help reduce unpleasant odors such as ammonia and hydrogen sulfide, allowing for ideal fermentation while mitigating these odors typically encountered during fermentation.
