Dry pulp non-woven fabric / Flame-retardant Kinokuro cloth

Flame-resistant Kinocross, which is a pulp-based non-woven fabric, is surprisingly difficult to ignite! It can also be used near open flames.

We have added the value of "flame retardant" to Kinocross's air raid non-woven fabric! By applying flame retardant treatment to pulp fibers, we have created a uniform flame-retardant sheet. The main raw material is pulp fibers, which excel in safety and environmental considerations. Due to its flame-resistant properties, it can be used in situations involving the use of fire hazards, such as wipes and packaging. The characteristic voids of Kinocross provide excellent water and oil absorption properties, making it useful for applications such as liquid-impregnated materials in equipment, electrical rooms, and substations. ◆ Oxygen index: 26% or higher (JIS K7201) ◆ Carbonization length: 135mm, equivalent to flame retardant class 3 (JIS Z2150) ◆ Flash point: >300℃, no ignition up to 300℃ (in accordance with the Fire Service Act hazardous materials confirmation test manual) ◆ Ignition point: 504℃ (ASTM E659)

Solve the 2024 problem: Choose the reinforced cardboard 'Navi Palette'.

2024 issue. There are only 11 months left until the legal reform for hiring truck drivers. If it's a pallet used every day, it's the 'Navi Palette' with a cumulative sales record of 20 million units.

The transportation industry is facing a shortage of about 33% in transport capacity due to labor hour regulations and other factors, resulting in an inability to transport goods once in every seven attempts. Shippers are concerned about requests for price increases, reduced transactions, and potential disruptions in domestic supply chains. To address this, we recommend "palletization," which helps reduce loading times! - Shortening loading times during transportation: Manual loading: 2 hours ⇒ Palletization: 20-30 minutes < Benefits of the corrugated cardboard "Navi Pallet" > ■ Sales record of 20 million units, with 100,000 units sold monthly. We have manufacturing bases in various locations for stable supply. - Manufacturing bases: 4 locations - Assembly and distribution bases: 5 locations (from northern Kanto to Kansai) ■ Lead time: up to 5 days - Capable of responding to sudden increases in demand and seasonal products - No need for long-term inventory ■ Environmentally friendly cardboard material - Approximately 40% lower CO2 emissions compared to wood - 100% recyclable - Easy disposal (one-way collection, no storage management required) - Lightweight and easy to handle for all ages ■ High load capacity - Proven performance with pianos and multifunction printers (products weighing from several hundred kg to over 1 ton) - Can be stacked *Expansion of manufacturing scale* In September 2023, our group company "Fukuno Cardboard Co., Ltd." relocated to Itakura, Gunma Prefecture, enabling greater supply capacity!

Proposing efficiency improvements in packaging materials (Improving labor environment for SDGs)

Reducing the labor burden on elderly silver workers through cardboard conversion. No need for nails or bolts, and with lighter packaging, anyone, including women, can handle the packing! A company that is friendly to workers.

This is an improvement case from a company that had been relying on elderly silver workers for packaging tasks. Currently, silver workers were assembling wooden pallets (wooden geta) using purchased lumber. We received feedback that: - Securing personnel is difficult. - Considering environmental impact, we would like to minimize the use of wood. Based on this, we began the design process. **Reasons for not transitioning to cardboard:** It seems that there had been a top-down goal to eliminate the use of wood for some time, but they had not progressed to an all-cardboard solution. - Currently, products were bolted to the wooden geta for fixation. Since cardboard cannot be secured with bolts, they hesitated. - They could not find a cardboard manufacturer that could meet such requests. **Improvements made:** - No need for nails or bolts. - Lightweight packaging. - Elimination of label application (printing directly on the packaging). ↓ ↓ ↓ - Anyone can package. - Simplified disposal for end-users (from industrial waste to recycled paper). - Reduction in air freight costs. And more. By replacing wood with cardboard, various benefits arise. ↓↓ For more details, please download the materials below and feel free to contact us. ↓↓

Proposal for improving labor conditions with cardboard (SDGs labor environment improvement) - Moving away from the use of nails.

Reducing the labor burden on elderly silver workers through cardboard conversion. No need for nails or bolts, and with lightweight packaging, anyone, including women, can handle the packing! Towards a company that is friendly to workers.

This is a case study of improvement at a company that was relying on elderly silver workers for packaging tasks. Currently, silver workers were assembling wooden pallets (wooden geta) using purchased lumber. We began the design process after hearing that: ◆ It is difficult to secure personnel. ◆ They want to minimize the use of wood considering environmental impact. [Reasons for not transitioning to cardboard] It seems that there had been a top-down goal to eliminate the use of wood for some time, but they had not progressed to an all-cardboard solution. - Currently, products were fixed to the wooden geta with bolts. Since cardboard cannot be secured with bolts, they hesitated. - They could not find a cardboard manufacturer that could meet these requirements. [Improvements made] - No need for nails or bolts - Lightweight packaging - Elimination of label application (printing directly on the packaging) ↓ ↓ ↓ ☆ Anyone can package ☆ Simplified disposal for end users (from industrial waste to recycled paper) ☆ Reduced air freight costs and more. By simply replacing wood with cardboard, various benefits arise. ↓↓ For more details, please download the materials below and feel free to contact us. ↓↓
