When replacing with HIPS alone, the resin usage is 3.8 kg, whereas the total usage when using Asacrin U grade drops to 0.8 kg. This represents a reduction of over 75% in resin usage. Additionally, this also results in a reduction in the time required for the switch, as well as a decrease in the cost of the resin used for replacement and the amount of waste generated. In this product case, we reduced the amount of PEI required for switching from super engineering plastics by approximately 67%. We would like to introduce a case study on the use of "Asaclean," which blocks oxygen and suppresses thermal degradation due to its excellent thermal stability. Inside the resin molding machine that is stopped, the residual resin deteriorates due to residual heat and oxygen in the air. As a result, problems such as foreign matter contamination during startup are more likely to occur. By sealing the machine with Asaclean, which has excellent thermal stability, it is possible to eliminate this potential issue. [Customer Feedback] ■ During machine downtime, we perform cleaning with Asaclean "U," sealing with "IMX," and cleaning again with "UF2."
