Complex-shaped parts can be deburred, polished, and cleaned simultaneously with powerful ultrasound after vacuum pre-treatment.
It has a very complex shape, and even when immersed in water, air does not escape, making ultrasonic effects ineffective. For such parts, the MARS series with vacuum pre-treatment functionality is recommended. The process involves creating a vacuum to remove air before immersion. No media is used; only water and ultrasound are employed. If rust is a concern, water with rust inhibitors or hydrocarbon-based solvents can be used. Coolant liquids are also applicable. The basic medium is water.
The target workpieces are placed in a hexagonal rotating basket, and powerful ultrasound is applied while rotating to remove burrs. The workpieces are polished, burrs are removed, and they are cleaned through vibrations exceeding 20,000 times per second and the positive and negative shock forces generated by cavities (micro vacuum nuclei) created by the ultrasound.
Processing can handle from 100 to tens of thousands of pieces at a time. This technology liberates you from the heavy labor of traditional barrel polishing. There is no need to secure personnel, as most of the work becomes light labor due to the absence of media. Separation through sieving is unnecessary, cleaning is not required, and drying is easy. Labor costs can be significantly reduced.
Costs decrease substantially, and quality stabilizes. This is a revolutionary new technology for barrel polishing.
