Visible light responsive TiO2 photocatalyst coating: T16-086

Introduction of Tohoku University Technology (T16-086): Simple, low-cost, aesthetically pleasing, and strong adhesion.

Traditionally, the Ti that undergoes thermal oxidation treatment results in rutile-type crystal structure TiO2, which is said not to exhibit photocatalytic activity under visible light irradiation. On the other hand, it has been reported that adding Au to TiO2 can demonstrate photocatalytic activity in the visible light range. The present invention provides a simple and cost-effective method to obtain a noble metal-containing TiO2 coating film with a rutile or anatase crystal structure and visible light-responsive photocatalytic activity with a film thickness of less than 1 μm, by thermally oxidizing a noble metal (Au, Ag, Pt, Pd) added noble metal-Ti substrate in the atmosphere or by carbonizing the Ti substrate in an Ar-CO atmosphere followed by thermal oxidation in the atmosphere. Other features of the present invention include aesthetic surface properties and strong adhesion to the substrate. Furthermore, it is also possible to obtain a noble metal-containing TiO2 coating film after the thermal oxidation of Ti coated with a noble metal thin film using methods such as sputtering, allowing for a reduction in the amount of noble metal used.

Fluororesin coating Shine solves your problems!

Discover the excellent properties of fluororesin coatings, and Shine Craft will solve your problems!

The characteristics of fluoropolymer resin include "non-stick" properties that make it difficult for things to adhere, a "low friction coefficient" that allows for easy sliding, "electrical properties" such as anti-static and electrostatic prevention, "heat resistance" that allows for use in a wide range from 260°C to -260°C, "non-wettability" that repels water and oil, and "chemical resistance" that prevents erosion by chemical solutions. Additionally, materials that can be coated with fluoropolymer resin include various metals such as aluminum, iron, stainless steel, copper, and brass, as well as a variety of other materials like glass, ceramics, rubber, and plastics. We are also increasing our processing achievements with materials that have been difficult to process in the past, such as silicone rubber, ceramics, and plastics, by using our special undercoating treatment. There may still be a chance for "that material" you were about to give up on. ◆ Regarding Inquiries ◆ When making an inquiry, it would be helpful to provide the following information for a smoother process: 1. The properties of the substrate to be coated (material, shape, size, etc.) 2. The purpose of the coating (e.g., non-stick, chemical resistance, slip properties, etc.) 3. Usage conditions (e.g., temperature, chemicals, wear conditions, etc.) * If possible, providing drawings would be helpful for estimating and calculations.

Shine's "Ceramic Coating for Resin and Engineering Plastics"

Ceramics that can form coatings on resin and engineering plastic products enhance wear resistance and slip properties!

Conventional fluorine coatings require high-temperature firing as a processing condition, making it difficult to apply them to resins. However, Shine Kogei's ceramic coating "Cera Armor" allows for low-temperature firing, making it possible to process resin products with low heat resistance. 【Ideal for customers like this!】 ◎ Dirt adheres to the material, leading to time and cost-consuming maintenance... ◎ The heat resistance of the material is low, and it cannot withstand the firing treatment of fluorine coatings... ◎ The durability of fluorine coatings is insufficient... ◆ Regarding inquiries ◆ When making an inquiry, it would be smooth if you could provide the following information: 1. The nature of the substrate to be coated (material, shape, size, etc.) 2. The purpose of the coating (e.g., non-stick properties, chemical resistance, slip properties, etc.) 3. Shine Craft: Ceramic Coating for Commercial Rice Cookers

Solve the weaknesses of fluorine coating, such as surface hardness and durability, with ceramics!

The pencil hardness of the fluorine coating is generally 3H. In production line equipment that manufactures large quantities of food daily, wear occurs quickly, and re-coating is often necessary. For those facing such concerns, we recommend Shine Kogei's ceramic coating "Cera Armor." The coating has a high hardness of 9H, excellent durability, and outstanding release properties that prevent food and other substances from sticking. 【Ideal for the following customers!】 ◎ Looking for a coating with a longer lifespan than fluorine coatings! ◎ Food materials are sticking, making post-operation cleaning time-consuming! ◎ Need heat resistance greater than that of fluorine coatings (approximately 500°C)! ◆ Regarding inquiries ◆ When making an inquiry, it would be helpful if you could provide the following information for a smoother process. 1. Properties of the substrate to be coated (material, shape, size, etc.) 2. Purpose of coating (e.g., non-stick, chemical resistance, slip properties, etc.) 3. Operating conditions (e.g., temperature, chemicals, wear conditions, etc.) * If possible, providing drawings would be helpful for estimating and calculations.
