ICF water-repellent coating (ICF-FT)

ICF water-repellent coating (ICF-FT)

By innovating the coating conditions, a surface treatment has been created that imparts water-repellent properties similar to fluororesin to DLC coatings. ■□■Features■□■ ■DLC coating with hardness equivalent to carbide (HV 1,000) and low friction coefficient (μ = 0.04 to 0.17). ■Due to its darker color compared to standard DLC products, it can be used for anti-reflective applications (wear resistance + thin film + black coating). ■Prevents mold contamination and contributes to improved productivity. ■Special specifications are available to enhance surface pressure against impacts in the vertical direction, which was a weakness of DLC. ■Applicable materials: carbide, SKH, SKD, SUJ2, SUS, ceramics, aluminum. ■Coating size: φ300 × 200 mm. ■Film thickness settings: standard 1 to 2 μm; ultra-thin films of 0.1 μm are also available. ■If you have experienced peeling with conventional DLC, please give it a try. For more details, please contact us.

Wear-resistant coating "IRIS-CA1"

Slippery properties, low aggressiveness, and anti-adhesion! Introducing wear-resistant coatings for Corson material die-cutting press processing.

The "IRIS-CA1" is a treatment proposed for extending the lifespan of press molds (punches and dies) used for processing Colson materials, which have been struggling with shot counts under harsh conditions in the previous "DLC-IRIS." Due to special conditions, AlCrN can be deposited in a smooth state with surface roughness similar to that of "DLC-IRIS." With a film thickness of 1μm, we have made it possible to deposit AlCrN with a smooth surface roughness, resulting in good adherence to precision parts. (In actual measurements, processing on a mirror test piece with Ra0.011 resulted in Ra0.017.) 【Features】 ■ Measures to extend the lifespan of press molds (punches and dies) for processing Colson materials that have been struggling with shot counts ■ AlCrN can be deposited in a smooth state with surface roughness similar to DLC-IRIS due to special conditions ■ Enables deposition of AlCrN with a smooth surface roughness at a film thickness of 1μm ■ Good adherence to precision parts *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

High adhesion low-temperature PVD coating

High adhesion low-temperature PVD coating

Stable adhesion! PBS (Plasma Booster Sputtering) Process Dry coating as an alternative to chrome plating ■□■Features■□■ ■Stable adhesion with low-temperature treatment - Capable of low-temperature treatment below 250°C, allowing processing of SCM carburized steel, SKS, SUJ, etc., while minimizing the reduction in base material hardness. - Achieves consistently excellent adhesion strength. ■High-precision coating is possible - Based on sputtering technology proven in semiconductor processes, using large targets for superior film thickness accuracy and reproducibility. - Applicable to precision parts and molds with strict tolerances. ■No droplets and smooth surface - No droplets like those from arc IP, resulting in a uniformly smooth surface with low surface roughness. - Low aggressiveness towards counterpart materials in sliding parts and precision molds, resulting in good tribology. ■For more details, please contact us.

DLC coating and DLC-soft (metal DLC) coating

DLC coating and DLC-soft (metal DLC) coating

This is an introduction to "DLC Coating and DLC-soft (Metal DLC) Coating" and "Slick Coat (S/H)." ■□■Features■□■ ■DLC Coating and DLC-soft (Metal DLC) Coating - Ideal for addressing issues caused by non-ferrous materials such as aluminum welding and solder plating. - Significantly improves the adhesion of the coating by lowering the hardness to an acceptable range. - Gaining traction mainly in Europe and the United States, applied to automotive parts, fuel injection pump components, and other sliding and rolling parts subjected to high loads. ■Slick Coat (S/H) (Slick Coat-S = New DLC) - A carbon thin film with high hardness, electrical insulation properties, and infrared transmittance. - High lubricity with a low friction coefficient (below 0.05). - Low hardness (1,000 to 2,000 Hv) with excellent toughness and high adhesion. - Capable of thick film processing (MAX 3.0 μm) due to low internal stress. - Processing (generation) temperature is below 200°C. ■DLC coating can process a relatively wide range of materials due to its lower processing temperature compared to PVD. It can also be applied to ceramic materials and has a high potential for processing thin materials. For more details, please contact us.

Non-PFAS coating

Non-PFAS coating that does not use synthetic resin

In line with the recent trends in PFAS regulations, our company has begun handling "Non-PFAS coatings" that do not use fluoropolymer resins. These coatings are currently being applied overseas to baking molds and pan trays, serving as PFAS alternatives that do not utilize fluoropolymer resins. Compared to traditional fluoropolymer resins, this ceramic-based coating operates at a lower processing temperature, resulting in less thermal damage to the substrate during treatment and promising a longer lifespan. Additionally, while the hardness is reduced compared to standard ceramic coatings, the film's conformability is comparable to that of fluoropolymer coatings.
