0640 Resolving the inability to discharge incineration ash (small hopper)

Proposals tailored to the user's conditions based on past experiences! Introducing installation examples of the Brodisk Mini.

We would like to introduce a case where the "Brodisk Mini" was adopted by a recycling-related business. At this location, there was a problem with the inability to discharge incineration ash, so we installed a total of 6 Brodisk Minis in 2 tiers, consisting of 3 units each, to resolve the issue. While some may consider 6 units to be excessive, the Brodisk Mini requires about 1/5 the amount of air compared to the Brodisk, which is why 6 units were deemed necessary based on the materials involved. [Case Overview] ■ Problem Details - Despite having sufficient discharge diameter and a gentle hopper incline, the powder was compacted and could not be discharged. - Hammering had little effect. ■ Solution - Installed 3 Brodisk Minis in 2 tiers, totaling 6 units. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

0093 Bridge measures for powdered food ingredients

This is an introduction to examples of bridge measures implemented for powdered food ingredients.

To enhance the discharge effect of "dextrin" used in health foods and confectionery from silos, we have adopted the BroaDisk. Since the installation of the equipment, there have been no occurrences of bridging phenomena or other blockages, allowing for stable discharge. We have installed eight BroaDisks for a 1600φ silo. While it may seem like a somewhat high number, the BroaDisk is low-cost, making it easy to introduce multiple units. This enables even more stable discharge. Additionally, the operation does not activate all eight units simultaneously; instead, they are turned on sequentially at multiple locations, which limits air usage. We have published numerous case studies on our website. You can check them out via the link below.

0528 Solving the discharge issues of magnesium oxide-based powder.

Three standard Brodisk (BD-15 type) units were installed in the hopper and testing was conducted.

This is an example of how our equipment resolved issues that could not be solved by the installation of knockers and aeration (socket welding) on the bridge. The installation of the blow disk involves making holes in the hopper wall for attachment. In this case, the customer expressed, "We have tried various methods, so we absolutely do not want to fail this time." Therefore, it was decided to first test with a φ500 hopper that the customer could prepare (with holes drilled, and it was acceptable if it did not work). As a result, the discharge issues were resolved, but after discussions between the customer and our company, we concluded that it would be better to install a total of 8 blow disks of this type in 2 tiers using a φ800 hopper. The customer proceeded with this installation. The control system uses a controller (C-SV4) with 4 built-in solenoid valves to sequentially turn on the air for the 8 blow disks in pairs at 4 locations with a time delay. [Conditions] ■ Hopper diameter: φ800 ■ Discharge diameter: 150A ■ Knockers: 2 electromagnetic (before the introduction of this equipment) ■ Sockets: 4 locations (before the introduction of this equipment) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

0530 Delivery to the manufacturer of quasi-drugs: Brody Disk Mini

Special Brody Disk Mini! Various documents requested by the customer will also be submitted in accordance with the delivery.

We have delivered to the manufacturer of quasi-drugs. This user has already been using the Brodisk (standard specification) and has received positive feedback. This time, they consulted us about adopting the Brodisk for another manufacturing device (quasi-drug production), and we provided them with a special specification product that has a proven track record with pharmaceutical manufacturers. For a φ500 hopper, it is possible to consider installing two Brodisk units instead of the Brodisk Mini, but the user expressed a desire to minimize the amount of air used as much as possible, so we decided to install four Brodisk Mini units. The Brodisk Mini uses about 1/5 the amount of air compared to the Brodisk, meeting the conditions, and the results were satisfactory. [Overview of the hopper for installation] ■ Diameter: φ500 ■ Discharge section: φ150 ■ Discharge device: Special choke valve *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

0614 Difficult to discharge tightly inside the container → Resolved

Easily solved at low cost! A case study introducing the standard Brodisk model BD-15S-B.

We received a consultation regarding the transportation of a powder container tank by truck, where the materials inside the tank became compacted due to vibrations during transport, making it impossible to discharge. We installed a total of four BD-15S-B standard blow discs, one on each side. During discharge, we manually turn on the air, but first, we repeat turning on the air 2-3 times for a few seconds while the butterfly valve is closed. After that, we open the butterfly valve and continue aeration, which resolved the issue. 【Conditions】 ■ Container dimensions: 1000×1000 ■ Discharge section: 200A butterfly valve ■ Inclination angle: approximately 55° ■ Target material: mixture of pellets and fine powder 【Key Points of This Equipment】 ■ The elastic disk (silicone) is very important in terms of strength and durability due to the risk of foreign matter contamination. The silicone disk of this equipment is exceptionally strong and durable. Once you use it, you will understand! ■ Control (how to aerate?) is crucial! We provide guidance on what should be done. We also have a dedicated controller available. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Handling of Titanium Dioxide, a Difficult-to-Discharge Material

A high-performance machine that combines bridge prevention and quantitative discharge: the "Hopper Vinyl Feeder"!

You were troubled by the discharge of titanium dioxide, a representative powder that causes blockages. Simply implementing cross-linking prevention measures led to irregular feeding of the powder into the lower melting tank. This raised concerns about increased melting time and uneven melting. Aisin Industry proposed the "Hopper Vinyl Feeder (HBF)," which combines bridge prevention measures with quantitative discharge. Our customers were impressed by the flowing titanium dioxide like a waterfall. Additionally, it is more cost-effective and space-saving compared to other cross-linking prevention measures. It has also received positive feedback for its good maintenance and low running costs.
