Here is a case study of the delivery of the "Dried Scallop Meat Drying Machine." The conventional drying method involved high-temperature drying with gas hot air, repeating the drying process several times a day. This led to issues with labor, unstable drying processes due to weather conditions when using sun drying, and increased work hours. This device, which utilizes far-infrared rays, repeatedly dries the moisture content of scallop meat from about 62% at the initial stage to 16% in the final product (steaming), completing the process in about 15 to 20 days without being affected by the weather, until a high-quality grade is achieved. We would like to introduce a case study of "off-line repair for partial repair drying." Off-line repair refers to the touch-up process after body painting in an automobile factory. The painting line in an automobile factory consists of electrodeposition painting followed by hot air drying. During this process, any paint irregularities that occur are repaired off-line and then returned to the line after the repair. Depending on customer needs, the heat source can vary, including far, medium, and near infrared. Generally, the heating conditions for repair work are maintained at 140 to 160°C for 20 minutes.
