[Solution Case] FPGA In-house Research Meeting vol. 4
Utilizing ARM-integrated FPGA! Introducing research on high-speed image processing and motor control.
We are further enhancing the control of the ping pong ball as the final installment. The images of the ping pong ball input from the camera were processed in a time-division manner by the ARM and logic within the FPGA, but to increase processing speed, we implemented improvements in feedback speed and memory access within the FPGA. However, regarding the control of the fan that actually levitates the ping pong ball, we are using a cooling fan intended for PC applications, which does not allow for precise control and quick response. *For detailed information about the case, please refer to the related links.
