The Nightingale Body Temperature Reference (BTR) black body system provides a low-cost, easy-to-operate heat source for human body temperature detection.

The Nightingale source is primarily designed to be incorporated into COVID-19 related thermal imaging temperature screening systems. The Nightingale temperature standard functions by providing a visible thermal reference area for infrared (thermal) camera systems to detect fever in individuals being tested for the coronavirus.
