Resin bearing phenol
It is a thermosetting resin made from phenol and formaldehyde, a plastic artificially synthesized from materials other than plants.
Since similar resins can also be produced from phenolic compounds such as cresol, they are often referred to as phenolic resins. They have excellent insulation and non-magnetic properties, high resistance to oil and chemicals, and are also heat-resistant, although they are weak against alkalis. Considering their performance, they can be said to be relatively inexpensive.
