"Film polishing" enables the achievement of excellent surface finishes in a short time while minimizing polishing unevenness and the occurrence of scratches. We received a request for large roll polishing from a steel roll manufacturer, aimed at removing the feed marks from grinding. Before the introduction of the super finisher, the processing time was 9 hours per piece, but after its introduction, it was reduced to 30 minutes (1 pass) × 4 passes = 2 hours per piece, allowing for a reduction of processing time to less than one-fourth. "Film polishing" can achieve an excellent surface finish in a short time while minimizing polishing unevenness and the occurrence of scratches. We received a request from an OA parts manufacturer aimed at improving surface roughness through rubber roll polishing. Before processing, the Ra value was 1.43μm, with a required value of less than Ra 0.6μm.
