[NMR Pipe Protector Verification Results] Cambridge University Hospital
Completely prevent new red rust inside the piping! A case where it became possible to use until the building's lifespan by preventing external corrosion!
The hot water supply piping at the Cambridge University Hospital uses galvanized steel pipes (SGP) as the piping material, and the piping was updated three years ago. However, due to bacterial corrosion, red water and leaks occurred. To prevent red rust corrosion in this piping, "NMR Pipe Protectors" were installed. Before the installation of this product, the iron content in the hot water supply piping was high at 1.07 mg/l, and discoloration was observed. However, 11 days after installation, the iron content in the hot water decreased to 0.188 mg/l, and the red water was completely resolved.
