We would like to introduce a case where our automatic meter reading and remote monitoring system was implemented for a customer managing sewer meter readings across the country. Previously, regular on-site visits and visual meter readings were conducted, but the costs and labor associated with traveling for remote meter reading were significant, leading to the challenge of wanting to conduct remote monitoring at a lower cost. After implementation, we built a system that counts the flow accumulation pulses from the sewer meters using the "WMB-DI16" and accumulates data in an IoT gateway. By collecting data remotely via a fixed IP SIM, we successfully reduced travel expenses.
