Epoxy resin excels in water resistance, chemical resistance, and corrosion resistance! It is widely used as an industrial adhesive and paint.

We would like to introduce a case study on the curing of epoxy-based adhesives. One-component epoxy resin cures through heating. It is necessary to raise the resin temperature to about 120°C to 150°C for curing. Typically, heating is done in a hot air furnace for about 40 to 60 minutes, but there are issues such as long processing times that prevent inline integration of heating equipment, or if integrated, the heating equipment becomes too large. Heating with far-infrared heaters has a very good compatibility with epoxy resin, allowing for quick heating throughout the resin, which leads to a reduction in curing time. This device, which utilizes far-infrared rays, repeatedly dries the moisture content of scallop meat from about 62% at the initial stage to 16% in the final product (steaming), completing the process in about 15 to 20 days without being affected by the weather, until a high-quality grade is achieved.
