Samples that require long firing times (over 4 hours) are recommended to be processed in a batch-type rotary kiln.
Similar to a continuous rotary kiln, various atmosphere gases are introduced into the furnace, and the raw materials are fired while being stirred.
■ Equipment Features
- Gradual heater temperature changes are possible: The temperature pattern can be set in stages according to the processing materials for the heating, holding, and cooling processes.
- Customization considering contamination: To reduce metal contamination such as Fe, the contact parts of the processed materials can be customized with special alloys like nickel. This technology can be proposed because of our confidence in welding special materials.
- Seal measures: We propose seal structures tailored to customer needs. Additionally, for fine raw materials, we offer dust collection and dust-proof covers to minimize scattering around the seals.
- High airtight seal (optional): Our unique seal structure using carbon materials enables continuous firing under flammable atmospheres (High airtight seal patent number: Patent No. 4150368).
- Customization of specifications according to customer needs: We can propose testing equipment that meets customer needs, from material selection for retorts and contact powder parts to exhaust gas treatment equipment.
- Batch type allows for small rod production.
■ Equipment Applications
Drying, firing, oxidation, etc., of various powders.
