A one-sided fastening method that combines U-NUT and clip fittings.

Precision lock nut

Bearing locking nut

Precision lock nuts are nuts used for securing bearings, and they can fully demonstrate their effectiveness in rotating bodies that require high precision. Rotating bodies are becoming smaller and faster, and there is a demand for high precision with minimal runout. In such cases, using high-precision lock nuts makes this possible and significantly reduces assembly time for equipment. Our precision lock nuts are manufactured to achieve runout precision of less than 3μm by simultaneously grinding the threaded part and its end face. Therefore, when the bearing end face is secured with the lock nut, it is possible to assemble with minimal eccentricity in the shaft part and achieve high precision. Additionally, the effective diameter of the threads is managed and manufactured towards the lower limit, which minimizes play with the shaft part when tightened, making it less likely to loosen due to vibrations. Furthermore, assembly and disassembly can be easily performed, making it very convenient for regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs of machinery.
