[Development Case] Pump for Transferring Electroless Nickel Plating Solution

Developed a pump capable of transferring and circulating electroless nickel plating solution and nitric acid with just one unit! Also reduces working time.

This is an introduction to the development case of the electrolysis nickel plating solution transfer pump "2PDM-27M." Electroless nickel plating solution plates all objects it comes into contact with. Furthermore, the pumps used by the customer had mechanical seals and gland packing that were also plated, requiring frequent replacement and repair. In response, we designed and proposed a pump specifically for the electroless nickel plating solution. After implementation, a single pump can transfer and circulate both the electroless nickel plating solution and nitric acid, simplifying operations to just valve switching and reducing work time. [Development Case] PP Pump

Pump developed with a focus on abrasion resistance for transporting abrasive slurry!

We will introduce a case study of the development of a "PP pump." We were using a metal coolant pump for the transfer of abrasive slurry, but due to severe wear on the impeller and the need for frequent replacements, we were asked to create a pump that is resistant to wear. Since aluminum electrolytic capacitors are directly related to the safety and quality of automobiles, there is a demand for further improvement in their performance and quality. In the manufacturing equipment for aluminum electrolytic capacitors, vertical axis pumps of the tank type are used for transferring electrolyte liquid close to its boiling point (95°C). However, in the new product manufacturing process, the electrolyte liquid becomes even hotter, and it was found in internal tests by users that the existing pumps could not meet the required suction performance of NPSH.Av1.3m or higher, leading to cavitation. We received a consultation from users who wanted to consider a maintenance-friendly horizontal land pump that would not cause cavitation, instead of a tank-type pump.
