The "Seal de Checker" is a seal that confirms the application of surface impregnation materials through alkaline discoloration. Many commercially available surface impregnation agents are colorless and transparent liquids, making it difficult to verify the application amount on-site. This led to the development of the Seal de Checker. The Seal de Checker works by allowing the surface impregnation material to pass through the upper water-absorbing sealant, causing the litmus paper underneath to change color. If the impregnation material is applied in excess of the required amount, it will change color completely, eliminating the need to measure the application weight.
