Material 'Application of CLN Method to Ritz Line Analysis' *Currently available for free.

Development of a method for evaluating AC losses in Litz wire using electromagnetic field analysis - Significantly reducing computation time and the burden of mesh generation.

The eddy current equivalent circuit method (hereinafter referred to as the CLN method) is a technique that represents the eddy current field using an equivalent circuit (ladder circuit), significantly reducing the computational load. Our company has developed a method that allows for the evaluation of Ritz wires, which have been difficult to analyze using the finite element method due to the complexity of their system, by applying the CLN method in a realistic timeframe. In this method, the Ritz wire is first homogenized, and then the AC loss is determined through AC analysis using the finite element method. By employing the Biot-Savart CLN method for the homogenization calculation, it eliminates the need to create a mesh for the air region of the analysis model. Additionally, by using an automatic mesh generation tool, the burden of mesh creation is significantly reduced. 【Features】 - Homogenization calculation of Ritz wires using the Biot-Savart CLN method - Evaluation of AC loss through AC analysis of the finite element method using the results of homogenization - No need to create a mesh for the air region in the Biot-Savart CLN method - Automation of mesh creation (up to 4-strand twisting) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Match!

M powder analysis database search / Software that can perform Reitvelt analysis!

Match! is a phase analysis software that uses powder diffraction data. It compares the sample's diffraction pattern with a database that includes reference patterns to identify existing phases. Known multipliers about the sample (such as known phases, elements, densities, etc.) can also be added. In addition to qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis can be performed using direct derivation methods (by Professor Toritani), RIR, Rietveld, DOC, and internal standard methods. As reference databases, the ICDD PDF database (available for a fee), the free COD database (standard equipment), user diffraction patterns, and crystal structure data can be used. Calculations executed in the background using FullProf (by J. Rodriguez-Carvajal) allow for easy setup and execution of Rietveld refinement and pattern decomposition from Match!. Match! provides an easy introduction to Rietveld refinement, ranging from fully automated operation to "expert" mode (depending on user settings).

Particle-based Plasma Analysis Software 'Particle-PLUS'

"Particle-PLUS" is a plasma analysis software suitable for simulations such as plasma reaction furnaces and chemical vapor deposition (CVD).

Particle-PLUS is a plasma and rarefied fluid analysis software that uses the particle method. It is effective for research, development, and manufacturing of devices and materials using plasma. It is also capable of analyzing advanced physical models such as dual-frequency CCP and external circuit models. With comprehensive support, even those new to simulation or busy with experiments can reliably achieve results. The software employs a particle model to analyze plasma, using the PIC/MC (Particle In Cell / Monte Carlo) method to track the motion of particles representing electrons and ions. Additionally, depending on the target plasma density, it efficiently switches between implicit methods for relatively high densities and explicit methods for low densities, allowing for effective solutions even with complex models. It excels in plasma simulations of low-pressure gases, where fluid modeling is particularly challenging. In addition to standard functions for CCP, ICP, and magnetron sputtering calculations, customization to fit the customer's equipment is also available.

Fluid analysis software Simerics MP+ for oil pumps.

Simulating the flow characteristics of positive displacement pumps such as gear pumps and vane pumps! A CFD software specialized for pumps that other CFD software struggles with!

Simerics MP+ is a fluid simulation tool designed to calculate the transient characteristics of various volumetric pumps, compressors, and valves. It is developed based on the thermal fluid simulation tool Simerics MP and utilizes all the features of Simerics MP. 【The following fluid analyses are possible】 ■ Free surface flow ■ Flow considering the compressibility of air contained in liquids ■ Pressure pulsations and water hammer effects ■ Coupling of pump flow with the rigid body motion of valves and cam rings ■ Flow in low to medium vacuum conditions ■ Compressible flow (subsonic) ■ Cavitation ■ Time variations of flow fields (velocity vectors, pressure), flow rate, fluid forces, and torque The greatest strength is the ability to automatically create meshes even for clearances in the µm range, which is difficult for other general-purpose fluid analysis software!! Recently, there has been an increase in applications for oil pumps used in automobiles and construction machinery, with examples including vane pumps for power steering and CVTs, as well as trochoidal pumps for engine lubrication. *There is a lot of information that cannot be posted online. In particular, we encourage you to see the actual mesh creation and movement through a demonstration!

[Case Study] Transient Flow Analysis of Axial Piston Pumps

By utilizing the PumpLinx simulator for pump transient flow characteristics, smooth flow analysis within axial piston pumps can be conducted.

PumpLinx has mesh templates for various types of pumps. By using templates tailored to the specific pump type being analyzed, the time and effort typically spent on mesh generation for fluid analysis of standard pumps can be significantly reduced and streamlined. For example, even for complex mechanisms like axial piston pumps, optimal meshes for analysis can be quickly and automatically generated based on 3D CAD data by setting parameters such as the number of cylinders. Additionally, the integrated GUI allows for smooth handling of operations such as mesh generation, setting analysis conditions, executing calculations, and displaying results all on a single screen, making the analysis easier and faster. Moreover, in many volumetric pumps, including axial piston pumps, cavitation may occur during the operating cycle. PumpLinx supports cavitation analysis through the adoption of high-precision cavitation models and cavitation damage models.
