Typically, plateau structures formed by machining allow oil to escape along cutting marks during sliding. Additionally, the surface exhibits high hardness, high compressive stress, and low friction properties. It is a water-soluble, environmentally friendly, completely chrome-free rust prevention coating and heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant surface treatment. The main component of Geomet, zinc, provides sacrificial corrosion protection, making it resistant to rust even if the coating is scratched by flying stones, and it achieves high corrosion and heat resistance with a thin film (approximately 10μm).
