Nano-level ultra-thin film surface treatment "Nano Process" for precision parts *Materials available upon request.

A super-thin film coating process that pursues water-repellent, oil-repellent, non-stick, and liquid slide-off properties! We are currently offering materials with characteristic data compiled for the new series.

The ultra-thin film surface treatment "Nano Process" coats surfaces with a thin film ranging from the nano level to about 1μm, enhancing water repellency, oil repellency, non-stick properties, and liquid sliding properties. It causes almost no dimensional changes and maintains optical properties, making it possible to process "precision parts" and in fields that require high dimensional and surface accuracy, where fluororesin coatings have been difficult until now. <Examples of industries requiring high surface accuracy> Semiconductors, Automotive, Batteries, Electronic Components, Medical Devices, etc. Additionally, the Nano Process has been renewed with four new functions, each with distinct features and applications. 【Features of Each Series】 ■ TC-10S Excellent precision of 100nm, visible light transmittance, water repellency, and oil repellency. ■ TLS Series Superior non-stick properties against adhesive materials like tape. ■ NCFPC Series Excellent liquid sliding properties for water and oil. ■ HP Series Excellent hydrophilicity. Currently, we are distributing materials that summarize the characteristics and functions of all series along with property data. If you are interested in more details or are facing challenges with surface treatment in precision fields, please download the materials or contact us directly.

Thin Film Coating: "Nano Process with Excellent Non-Stick Properties for Adhesive Materials"

A thin film coating with excellent non-stick properties that prevents adhesion. It helps to prevent sticking of blades.

The "Nano Process TLS Series" is a thin film coating that excels in non-adhesiveness, preventing sticky substances like adhesive tape from sticking. A film thickness of about 1μm is achievable, allowing for minimal dimensional changes while maintaining optical properties. This makes it possible to process "precision parts" and in fields that require high dimensional and surface accuracy, where fluororesin coatings have been difficult to apply. <Examples of Applications> - Non-adhesiveness for products with high adhesive strength, like adhesive tape - Prevention of adhesion for electronic component sealing materials - Prevention of adhesion for hot melt adhesives - Prevention of adhesion for silicone adhesives, etc. Additionally, Nano Process has been renewed with three other new functions, each with different features and applications. 【Series Features】 ■ TC-10S Excellent precision, visible light transmittance, water repellency, and oil repellency ■ NCFPC Series Excellent liquid slip properties for water and oil ■ HP Series Excellent hydrophilicity We are currently offering a technical document summarizing the details of the series. If you are interested in more details or are facing challenges with surface treatment in precision fields, please download the document or contact us directly.

DLC (TAC) thin film on plastic and ceramic materials, rubber materials.

Due to low-temperature film formation, DLC (TAC) can be deposited on various materials! Significantly improved wear resistance and scratch resistance! Replacement from metal materials to plastic materials.

The deposition of DLC (ta-C) films, which was difficult to coat on plastic and ceramic materials, has become possible. Since the coating is done at low temperatures, there is no deformation or alteration of the substrate materials. Furthermore, by coating a decorative film (metal film) on DLC (TAC), we can provide a high-quality, high-hardness film. Coating of not only DLC (TAC) but also metal films is possible. 【Features】 ■ Low-temperature deposition ■ Scratch resistance ■ DLC (TAC) + decorative film is possible *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.

Prevents adhesive transfer and blade sharpness deterioration! Thin film coating for cutting tools.

"Maintaining sharpness while achieving non-stick properties" Keep the sharpness of the blade edge with a film thickness of less than 1µm! Prevents adhesion of sticky substances to products and appearance defects, significantly improving yield.

In the cutting process of composite materials (laminated boards) made by overlapping resin sheets or films with adhesives, adhesive adhesion to the blade tip directly impacts product quality. When highly adhesive glue components adhere and accumulate on the blade tip, not only does the cutting performance significantly decline, but the accumulated adhesive also transfers and adheres to the product's cut surface, causing appearance defects and dimensional defects that worsen yield. Conventional fluororesin coatings are too thick, at several tens of micrometers, causing the blade tip to round off and reducing cutting precision, making them unsuitable for use. Our "NonStick STC" is a "super-thin film" non-stick coating with a thickness of less than 1 micrometer. 【Quality Improvements Achieved by This Product】 ■ Maintenance of Sharp Cutting Performance Due to its ultra-thin film, it does not alter the blade tip shape, maintaining sharp cutting performance. ■ Prevention of Adhesive Transfer and Adhesion With release properties surpassing fluororesins, it physically repels even highly adhesive materials. ■ Dramatic Improvement in Yield Significantly reduces defect rates caused by adhesive transfer on cut surfaces. It contributes to the stability of cutting quality and the reduction of defect rates.

Maintaining sharpness with a film thickness of 1µm or less! Thin film coating that prevents wear through sliding.

【Surface treatment that does not compromise sharpness at all】 Overcomes the weaknesses of conventional fluoropolymer! With ultra-thin film and excellent low friction properties, it strongly suppresses edge wear caused by difficult-to-cut materials.

The biggest challenge in coating industrial blades is "not to compromise the sharpness (cutting ability and precision) of the blade edge due to the thickness of the coating." Common fluoropolymer coatings tend to be thick, which can round off the blade edge and reduce cutting precision. Our "NonStick STC" is an "ultra" thin, non-stick coating that provides excellent slip properties without compromising the sharpness of the blade edge. 【Technical Approach】 ■ Ultra-thin film with a thickness of less than 1µm Can be coated without changing the blade edge angle or geometric shape. It completely maintains the sharp cutting ability of the cutter. ■ Reduction of sliding resistance By imparting excellent "slip properties (low friction)" comparable to fluoropolymer on the surface, it alleviates the friction load that hard materials like glass fibers exert on the blade edge. ■ Compatibility of wear resistance and non-stick properties Boasting adhesion and wear resistance that withstands harsh continuous cutting, it has achieved over 200,000 continuous cuts in internal tests. This approach of "maintaining sharpness with an ultra-thin film while resisting wear attacks" realizes the longevity of cutting tools.
